Une femme de ses propres mains a transformé sa maison en maison de Barbie

Often we don’t decide how to design the house. Many thoughts and ideas can arise, but it is not easy to decide, as it happened in the case of our heroine. Rachel Havender never liked the minimalist interior, but for a long time she could not understand how to decorate her home. Their own childhood dream and the imagination of their two daughters came to the rescue. From the photos, you might think that the little family lives in a full-fledged toy house. Everything here is so doll-like, and fairy-tale-like in a shade of pink.

But along with the rich pink, Rachel’s mom created plenty of accents, including blues and purples. In his blog, Havender said that she lived in a traditional light Scandinavian interior for several years. However, she was uncomfortable in the bright apartment. Rachel believes she made the right decision when she ditched the trends and decided to create a home the way she wanted it. Now, along with vivid details, there are references to eighties culture and embellishments.

She decided to customize almost all the pieces of furniture herself to create a truly unique interior. She did most of the work herself. For example, she spent only 40 dollars to paint the floor. She made stencils of masking tape, bought bright paint and worked for several hours. It turned out impressive!

As a result, many users admire how Rachel was able to design the house . But more than anyone else, her daughters are proud of the young woman’s work. The girls’ friends think that the Havenders live in a real Barbie house. Rachel herself has this to say about her transformed apartment: “My house may be strange, but it’s normal for me. Even when it’s dark outside the window, the dark house is bright and happy.”
